The ideal candidate will possess excellent mathematical and analytical skills, be proficient in using payroll software, and have a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications A bachelor's or an associate degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and relevant labor laws.
Familiarity with payroll software and time and attendance systems.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate and process payroll data.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations and data entry.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain data privacy.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Publisher software programs Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to payroll processing and discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Process Payroll:
Accurately calculate and process payroll for all employees, including regular and overtime hours, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related items.
Maintain Payroll Records:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee information, tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits contributions.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to payroll processing, tax withholding, and reporting.
Payroll Reporting:
Generate and distribute payroll reports to management, HR, and other departments as required.
Benefits Administration:
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate and timely administration of employee benefits, including retirement plans, health insurance, and other benefits programs.
Time and Attendance:
Manage time and attendance system, including reviewing and approving timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and addressing attendance-related issues.
Payroll Taxes:
Calculate, remit, and report payroll taxes accurately and in a timely manner, including federal, state, and local taxes.
Audits and Reconciliations:
Conduct periodic audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Payroll Inquiries:
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings in a timely and professional manner.
Stay Informed:
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate payroll services.
